The SYS-MD1004 The MD-1004 is a high volume, commercial grade, four-barrier water treatment system for use in large homes or commercial applications such as restaurants, cafes and professional buildings. It uses proven filtration and UV technology to ensure that all the water is treated at multiple levels and is completely clean and safe to use and consume.

The MD-1004 initial barrier is a high volume filter to remove particulates from the water, including dirt, rust, and dust. The filter traps these particulates and keeps them out of the water stream. The second barrier is a high quality granular carbon filter used to remove foul taste and odors along with some types of chemical contaminants including herbicides and pesticides. This carbon filter absorbs the contaminants out of the water stream and holds them locked inside the tiny pores in the carbon media. The third stage filter is a solid carbon block type filter to act as a polish filter. The final stage is a high-powered UV light to kill all pathogens including e.coli, coliform, giardia and many more. These bacterial and viral contaminants are effectively killed immediately by exposure to the UV lamp inside the stainless steel chamber. The result is beautiful water for use throughout the home and it's available 24 hours a day in unlimited volume.

The MD-1004 uses high volume filter housings and is factory assembled on a stainless steel panel so it can be installed in minutes. Care and maintenance of the system is minimal.
